Our Lumber

All of our lumber is kiln dried.  We primarily use logs of white cedar for our rustic furniture although some of our indoor tabletops may contain 1-1/2" tongue and groove pine.  All outdoor tabletops are made of 100% cedar. 

Rustic cracks, called checking, will appear in the furniture.  This occurs during the drying process when the logs release moisture.  Although appearing cracked, your furniture will be 100% structurally sound.  The cracking merely adds character to the rustic look. 

Construction

All of our Rustic Log Furniture can be finished, or left unfinished.  When left outside, unfinished furniture will turn gray over time. 

Although we offer our furniture in standard sizes, since we make it here in our workshop, for an additional fee, any of it can be custom sized to fit your requirements.  We also provide custom cushions and throw pillows for your comfort.
